Shakira does a beautiful job with "Acróstico" at the 2023 Latin Grammys

The moving song is up for song of the year.

Shakira performed “Acróstico” at the 2023 Latin Grammys. She wore a beautiful gold dress by Dolce & Gabbana and sang into a microphone that was wrapped in gold. The sincere ballad is an emotional, honest letter to her two children, Milan and Sasha. It is up for song of the year at the awards show in Seville, Spain, on Thursday (Nov. 16).

The Colombian singer began her show on a stage that was enclosed and lit up with beautiful mirrors. As she walked to the stage, a piano player joined her. Then, a video of her two boys singing the song’s lyrics played. Milan and Sasha were both there, and they were proud to cheer for their mum from their places.

The stripped-down version of “Acróstico” came after Shakira won her first award of the night for best pop song with her collaboration with Bizarrap on “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.”

She said in her award speech, “I want to share this Grammy with my coworkers, with whom I have had the pleasure of working and learning.” “With people from Latin America in Spain, Colombia, the US, and Latin America itself.” To the Latin public, I owe everything. They have taken me to the highest points, places I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid. I also want to share this with my Spanish fans, who have been there for me through good times and bad and have never stopped loving and supporting me. That’s something I’ll never forget. It’s for you.

Andrea Bocelli, Alejandro Sanz, Bizarrap, Borja, Camilo, Carin León, Christian Nodal, David Guetta, DJ Premier, Édgar Barrera, Eslabón Armado, Feid, GALE, Iza, Joaquina, Juanes, Kany García, Laura Pausini, Leon Leiden, Maluma, Manuel Carrasco, Maria Becerra, Milo J, Natascha Falcão, Ozuna, Pablo Alborán, Paola Guanche, Peso Pluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, and Sebastián Yatra will all perform at the 2023 Latin Grammys.
