Daytona Beach will host Rockville for the fourth time in 2024
After over a decade as a popular outdoor concert mainstay in Jacksonville, Rockville will return to Daytona International Speedway in 2024.
It has become known for hosting dozens of acts annually, including several heavy-metal legends. The four-day heavy-metal event in 2023 had 95 bands, including Tool, Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, and Pantera, and drew 170,000 attendees. That broke the event’s 2021 record of 161,000, Rockville’s first year in Daytona Beach after nearly a decade in Jacksonville.
The festival promoter reported that weekend general admission wristbands for the 2024 festival, which went on sale this summer for $269.99 plus taxes and fees, sold out by early November.
When a certain number of tickets are sold at that price, the price rises to $289.99 plus taxes and fees. At Wednesday’s lineup release, those passes went on sale. Wednesday saw the $109.99 plus fees sale of single-day general admission tickets.
